50 Classic Book Covers Redesigned, Ready to Hit the Road

A successful Kickstarter campaign means that 50×50, an exhibit that showcases 50 redesigned classic book covers, will reach all 50 states by 2017.

With five days to spare, 50X50—a campaign to exhibit 50 redesigned covers for classic books in all 50 states by 2017—has already almost doubled its Kickstarter goal.

Three hundred artists have contributed 750 covers for 100 classic titles, from The Scarlet Letter to The Wizard of Oz. Below we’ve compiled a few of our favorites; make sure to check out our Facebook page to see many more (and let us know which redesign you think best embodies its literary inspiration).
