2. Boral Timber offers flooring made from ten species of Australian hardwood--including
Sydney blue, spotted gum, and jarrah--all harvested under an internationally
recognized certification system that monitors everything from forestry management
to production efficiency. The woods offer enough variety for residential
use and are durable enough (almost twice as hard as American oak) for commercial
use.
