7. No-Flush Urinal by Waterless
It looks like a regular urinal and drains into ordinary plumbing, but this
dry version eliminates the need for flushing water. A disposable trap
holds a layer of biodegradable liquid BlueSeal that is lighter than urine
and floats on top, trapping odor underneath. This fixture saves
up to 45,000 gallons of water per urinal annually, requires less maintenance
than traditional models, and improves rest-room sanitation.
