The rusted walls of the Guggenheim Hermitage Museum, in Las Vegas (designed by Rem Koolhaas and OMA), are made of industrial Cor-Ten steel, which has been sealed in a process that makes it look velvety, recalling the walls at the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg. Magnets clamp the frames of paintings to the steel walls.
