7. The rusted walls of the Guggenheim Hermitage Museum, in Las
Vegas (designed by Rem Koolhaas and OMA), are made of industrial Cor-Ten
steel, which has been sealed in a process that makes it look velvety,
recalling the walls at the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg. Magnets
clamp the frames of paintings to the steel walls.
