State flags are a symbol of the lifeblood of the people who shape and populate their states. They congeal the past but rarely represent the collective wisdom garnered from that past. In this design, familiar diagonals and colors from past Georgia flags are split apart and then woven together in a crosshatched style. This reformation creates an image that is optimistic, forward, and nonrestraining. It's not a badge, but the coursing of a spirit.
