If I were to design the flag without the concern of offending anyone I would simply reduce the size of the Confederate emblem and place it in the corner. I dulled the color so that it wouldn't illuminate and glorify the symbol, but it was important to me to keep the Confederate symbol because the recently fought battle over it is a reminder of how far we've advanced in the past 150 years.
