Coverings, the largest global tile & stone exhibition in North America, will soon open its doors in Orlando, Florida with one of the largest selections of products in its 26 year history. The showcase will bring together over 1,000 exhibitors from more than 40 countries—with a heavy presence from Italy, Spain, and the U.S.—in a 400,000 square-foot exhibition space at the Orange County Convention Center. One of the exhibition highlights will be the Ceramics of Italy booth, dubbed the Piazza Ceramica. Designed by e +i studio, the booth will exhibit over 100 Italian brands with each representing some of the latest innovations in the industry. The Piazza will also function as an information center and small reprieve for visitors to enjoy light Italian fare before attending some of the event’s programming—more than 80 seminars and demonstrations catering to experts and enthusiasts alike.

Gearing up for the opening on April 14th, we selected a few standout products from the vast array on display.

BonTon Designs will launch Arbor, a take on the “Rustic Luxe” design trend inspired by cut sections of wood. The collection is intended for interior accents and comes in 40 different glaze options.

At the Ceramiche Ascot booth, you can find Game of Fifteen, a new tile series inspired by the work of 15 contemporary artists. The first collection draws on pop artist Keith Haring, with ceramic wall tiles available in 13 individual patterns based on his graphic work.

Spanish company Cevica, S.L.’s latest range is composed of two designs: Feelings is a soft pattern inspired by lace, while Sensations features dynamic geometries. Both designs are offered in 14 colors.

Coem presents the Ardesia Mix collection, a new approach to stone-effect porcelain stoneware featuring tiles that are cohesive in color, yet eclectic in texture and shade. These tiles come in two finishes, three colors, and varying sizes that can be mixed to create different patterns.

Crossville introduces the Moonstruck collection, porcelain tiles with veining inspired by lunar striations. The line’s palette of five warm and cool neutrals is made in the U.S.

Diamond Tech TilesCountryside series combines an array of neutral colors—including steel grey, desert gold and black. The slate tiles are accented with frosted glass and artistic details.

Lea Ceramiche will showcase Pixel, the newest addition to the company’s Slimtech line of laminated porcelain stoneware developed by HOK. The tiles are distinguished by their thin profile and vibrant color palette inspired by Italy’s diverse landscapes. The product comes in a wide range of sizes and is suitable for both interior and exterior applications.

Natucer unveils Boston, a graphic combination of urban and industrial tiles with a distinctive artisanal look—irregular borders, worn appearance, and variance in shades.

Sicis’ Fiber, is the company’s latest collection of tiles in different formats and materials, ranging from squares to thin, linear shapes that impart a geometric “waterfall” effect. Materials range from glass and mirrored glass to marble, platinum and gold.
