Metropolis's editor in chief, Susan S. Szenasy, spoke Oct. 10, 2009, at the Future of Design conference hosted by University of Michigan's Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning. At the event, 30 designers, critics, and provocative thinkers brainstormed how design is evolving across various disciplines, including architecture, landscape architecture, and interactive, industrial, and interior design.
