Universal Design Made Simple

Posted December 1, 2004

This was a great article with a great design. [“Design is Universal”] I am a quadriplegic of 48 years and prior to my injury had a passion for architecture. With the availability of computer hardware and software, I have been able to design homes and modifications for people all over the United States. I once owned a cabinet manufacturing company and designed an accessible kitchen wall cabinet using nothing more than drawer slides and a gear motor.
