Hand-Crafted, Custom-Made Resin Panels

Skyline Design’s new Lumicast Folio collection of hand-cast, polyester resin panels can be custom-made to a buyer’s wildest specifications. Nearly anything, from seeds and beads to pom-poms and camera parts, can be suspended between the panels as “fill,” with the company’s artisans able to duplicate a design, create a new one, or draw from a pool of approximately 60 images viewable on Skyline’s Web site. The panels, which are available with a clear, frosted, or tinted finish, are especially popular in bars and spas, serving as room dividers and back-lit walls. The panels are also gaining popularity in the health care industry. Prices begin at $120 a square foot, depending upon size and filler.
