A Rug of Many Colors

The three-, six-, and eight-color carpet designs by Swedish fashion illustrator Liselotte Watkins pop out of the crowds at Downtown, an offsite show being held during the ICFF. All of Watkins’s carpets are named for women, but the most stunning piece depicts a lady’s face amid flowing tresses, rendered in a startlingly unconventional combination of scarlet and green.
