Like a Praayer

Posted December 6, 2006

Like its namesake, the Maantis light, from Richard Rogers Partnership and Italian manufacturer Reggiani, has a strange shape. Instead of oversize front legs and a triangular head (that can turn 180 degrees!), the hybrid system has a pair of fluorescent tubes shaded by polycarbonate wings, ambient LEDs along its spine, and an adjustable spot lamp (that can turn 180 degrees!). In addition, the Maantis won’t chomp off your head after sex.
