Metropolis Luncheon: Preserving Our Modern Heritage

This program will discuss what it takes to turn a collection of architectural masterpieces into a tourist destination. This spring the Johnson compound shifted from private residence to the first modern site on a stop on the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s circuit. What does it take to preserve the Johnson legacy? What can we learn about preserving modern architecture?
