How many pairs of shoes or glasses do you own?
No glasses. A lot of shoes.

I could do it in German. No. My jetlag. Too complicated. Actually I don’t know what it stands for! International… City? Commercial? International Crowd Finds … Fruit.
If you could build a piece of furniture out of any material in the world, what would it be?
Some kind of stone–looking like real stone but extremely light.
What is the desktop picture on your computer?
A huge amount of files. It looks like a forest. I used to be more organized but in the last two years it’s growing and growing and I cannot handle it anymore.
Do you sketch with a particular kind of pen or notebook?
Yes. A kugelschreiber. Black ball point pen.
When did you know you wanted to be a designer?
I was like sixteen, and I was in Berlin, and I saw somebody in this eighties style welding chair, in the Hinterhof. I was so fascinated, and it was really the start.
What’s the favorite thing you’ve seen here so far?
I like this Bernhardt stuff.
If you weren’t a designer, what would you be?
Cook. I seriously thought of being a cook. It’s not so nice in reality. The idea of cooking is much nicer than the reality.
What is your least favorite color?
Orange.
Do you have a hero?
Not any more.
