Feeling Groovy

Paulin has a close and enduring relationship with another major furniture manufacturer—the Dutch company Artifort has been producing the designer’s work for almost five dec­ades. His most iconic piece for them is the Ribbon chair, which perfectly captured the go-go, miniskirted spirit of the mid-1960s and remains popular today. The classic F444 chair, from 1963, will be at this year’s International Contemporary Furniture Fair. Paulin’s furniture is available in the United States through M2L and Hivemodern.com
