Established two years ago, the Bologna, Italy–based company Regenesi has recently launched its collection of sustainable goods Stateside, including housewares, jewelry, and fashion accessories made primarily from postconsumer materials. The o-Re-gami lampshade, by Matali Crasset, is crafted by Italian artisans using leather regenerated from scraps. “Thanks to today’s technological innovations,” says Regenesi’s founder and CEO, Maria Silvia Pazzi, “something fine and useful can be created from consumer waste.”
