The program: Spanish architect Angela García de Paredes, principal of Paredes Pedrosa Architects, Madrid, presents her recent projects, like the Peñíscola Congress Centre. Richard Southwick, director of preservation at Beyer Blinder Belle, NY and his colleague, Charles Kramer, provide an in-depth case study of how a famous Saarinen building, with its free-flowing curves and inventive use of tile, was restored to perfection.
The panel discussion with Paredes, Southwick, Ignacio Fernández Solla of Façade Team Arup Spain, and ceramic tile consultant Patti Fasan, will ensue.
