Plastic laminate was never this clear before. But it is now because 3form uses an co-polymer resin called PETG that’s similar to the plastic found in drink bottles—so the product is not only translucent, but also fully recyclable. Depending on the required application, designers can specify sheet material in thicknesses varying from 1/16” to a full inch. Figure in the embossed textures and fifty available colors, and this laminate can become as illuminating as an art glass—at a fraction of the cost.

3form’s plastics have already been used in custom light fixtures, countertops and reception desks, wall partitions, and temporary flooring. It’s a material that’s waiting for even more innovative applications from the minds of today’s designers.
