A Shift in the Boardroom

Nucraft commissioned Cesaroni Design of Chicago to design a boardroom table that could be rearranged for other purposes, like training, where a “C” configuration would make more sense. Its newly developed quick gang connection is what makes it distinct: the device aligns, gangs, and flushes the individual components with no tools and no loose parts. Because it looks easy to operate, and the worker bees should be able to handle it by themselves, it should mean one less task for facilities management types to worry about. The real plus to this piece is its attention to details that are more decorative than functional. Unlike similar systems, Discovery doesn’t need a sea of legs to support its various uses (hidden ball casters make for excellent mobility) and the tabletops are grain matched and richly finished.
