Everybody Is a Star
In 2005, the artist Jason Polan published The Every Piece of Art in the Museum of Modern Art Book, which is pretty much exactly what is sounds like: a catalog of every item on public display at the MoMA during a 12-day period, each rendered in a genial ink drawing.

Now Polan has a new, even more ambitious goal: to draw every person in New York City. He will be working every day and posting the results to his Every Person in New York blog. He’s also posted instructions for how New Yorkers can maximize their own chances of being drawn: just e-mail him with a time and (public) place where you will be standing for two minutes, and you may see your likeness on his blog the same evening.
