Two pieces in separate corners of the fair seem made for each other: Yoshi Saito’s Hug seating and the Swing Low cradle by Soren Ulrik Petersen. Both are made from felt and have zigzag stitching. The literature for Swing Low, which is produced by SUP Design, says it is meant to be hung above your bed and rocked with a big toe “for a soft start on a better world.”

Saito’s Hug prototype is a place where adults can retreat from a world that’s not always kind. Canoe-shaped with soft sides, you can climb in and cocoon yourself. It also seats two comfortably, either nestled inside or, on kinder days, sofa-style with the sides folded down.
