Clearly organic shapes are a trend in design. Anyway, as Ilex’s Ben Duggan said, “We had to get away from linear.”

One of the products of this anti-linear sentiment is the new ceiling light, Teardrop. The globular glass fixture comes in two sizes. And although the products seem popular with ICFF visitors, Duggan says that they might have named the light mistakenly. “We should have called it a gourd,” Duggan laughs, but indeed, that’s exactly what it looks like-attractively so.
