New Touch Papers from Wolf-Gordon

Commercial wallcovering manufacturer, Wolf-Gordon offers the latest in its innovative series of concept wallpaper collections (others include Linework by Laurinda Spear and Digital Nature by Karim Rashid) curated by creative director, Marybeth Shaw.

“Touch” is a game that Amsterdam-based landscape and interior designer Petra Blaisse plays with walls. The eight patterns, 54-inches wide, are made from photographs of felt, rope, stitching, knits, and fur—all enlarged to an unexpectedly grand scale. The surface appears to take on depth and confuses the eye. The effect is one that draws viewers to want to—you guessed it—touch the walls.
