IBM Comes to NYC
27 years ago this week, Edware Larrabee Barnes and John M.Y. Lee Architects used 15,000 granite slabs to create the 43-story tower now known as the IBM Tower.

Today, the tower, named after the company formerly known as the “International Business Machines Corporation” or “I.B.M.”, still stands at the corner of 57th Street and Madison Avenue.
