With over a million square feet of exhibition space, NeoCon can be quite an assault on the feet. So when I walked into the Mondo exhibition area, I was surprised to find myself sinking into the same softness you usually find on a running track. The company’s contract rubber flooring is kin to the Mondo athletic surfaces that were first installed in North America for the 1976 Olympics in Montreal. Mondo’s exhibit didn’t have any chairs, but it was the most comfortable place to stand that I found all day.
