Didn’t get to mention this in my review of Tom Vanderbilt’s new book on traffic—is it just me, or are both the U.S. (left) and the U.K. book covers rather uninspired? Don’t get me wrong: I love the poodle-in-sunglasses direction; I’m just not sure it does the book justice.

On the other hand, the yellow sign makes an excellent favicon for Vanderbilt’s traffic blog, How We Drive, which is also worth checking out.
