Among the pleasures of NYCxDESIGN is exploring the many free and public cultural happenings throughout the city. In Manhattan’s design districts in particular, shops, showrooms, galleries, and studios will open their doors, affording the opportunity for makers, connoisseurs, and patrons to mix and mingle. Join an architectural walking tour through Madison Avenue’s historic fashion district, or head south to discover high-end furnishings in NoMad, Soho, and Tribeca, as well as the new Downtown Design District, which encompasses art and design from South Street Seaport to the Oculus.
