Armstrong Ceilings Recycling Program

The Armstrong® Ceilings Recycling Program is the first and longest-running recycling program in the ceilings industry. The program takes back discarded ceiling panels from commercial renovation and demolition projects and upcycles them into brand new ceiling panels. Since the program’s launch 20 years ago, Armstrong has diverted more than 200 million square feet of used ceiling materials away from landfills.

Tectum

Made of renewable and sustainably harvested Wisconsin Aspen trees, Armstrong’s Tectum panels were awarded the Living Product Challenge Imperative Certification by the Living Future Institute. They are the first and only acoustical solution to achieve this certification. Tectum ceiling and wall panels are also Rainforest Alliance Certified™ to Forest Stewardship Council® standards and are part of the Armstrong Sustain® portfolio, which means that they meet the most stringent sustainability standards in the industry. Armstrong also continues its commitment to conservation by supporting efforts to preserve Aspen forests for years to come.
