ECOsurfaces has refined their technique that reuses small rubber chips to create palates of rich, yet neutral colors to invoke the finely granulated matter that exists on shores the world over. This new line of rubber flooring—ECOsands—is made from 100% post-consumer material and is designed for versatility. A year in the making, the 12-hued color palate was headed up by a team of international color consultants who looked to compliment modern design trends by creating flooring that could easily offset existing flooring such as hardwood. “It’s designed to coordinate with everything,” explains Dodge-Regupol’s Amy Griscom. “It’s neutral enough to allow everything in the room a certain impact.”
