“A predominance of prominent dealers exhibiting 20th century modernist work and a sprinkling of younger galleries showing zesty contemporary art characterizes Art20,” remarks The New York Times’ Benjamin Genocchio of Sanford Smith’s youngest fair.

This November, for the 6th year, collectors, curators and art lovers from all over the world will gather in the Park Avenue Armory to participate in an emerging tradition and the discovery of contemporary classics at the fall season’s paramount art exhibition in New York. One can expect to find museum quality works for sale in an array of mediums including
paintings, prints, photography and sculpture.

EXHIBITORS
Sixty top tier art dealers from around the U.S. and Europe have been carefully selected to exhibit.

Galleries returning to Art20 include: ACME Fine Art (Boston), Archeus (London), Babcock Galleries (NYC), Valerie Carberry Gallery (Chicago), Galerie Boulakia (Paris), Hackett Freedman Gallery, Inc. (San Francisco) and Tom Veilleux Gallery (Portland, ME).

Several new participants are: Bernarducci Meisel Gallery (NYC), Peter Fetterman Gallery (Santa Monica, CA), Sims Reed Ltd. (London), Gary Snyder/Project Space (NYC), Stefan Stux Gallery (NYC), Waterhouse & Dodd (London) and D. Wigmore Fine Art (NYC).

ARTISTS IN ATTENDANCE
Several artists whose work will be featured at Art20 will also appear in person. Ron Ehrlich, Nobu Fukui, Lloyd Martin, Johannes Girardoni and Linda Stojak, all with works at Stephen Haller Gallery’s booth, are expected to visit the fair. Tadaaki Kuwayama and Rakuko Naito, who both showed minimal abstract paintings in New York in the 1960s and now in the Gary Snyder/Project Space booth, will also attend.

PREVIEW GALA
On November 8 from 6-9 pm, ART20 will host a preview gala allowing attendees to be the first to browse these coveted art collections with the chance to purchase. For the second year, ticket proceeds will benefit Planned Parentood . The national office of Planned Parenthood® Federation of America, and the three New York area offices—Planned Parenthood® Hudson Peconic, Planned Parenthood® of Nassau County and Planned Parenthood® of New York City—are collaborating on this event to raise much needed funds to support Planned Parenthood’s unique, three-tiered mission of clinical services, education and advocacy.
