Unobtrusive, Multifunctional Solar Technologies More Likely to be Adopted

I think technologies like PV-TV ( “PV-TV: A Mutifunctionary, Eco-Friendly Building Material”) are essential if the U.S. is to free itself from dependence on foreign oil, and also to combat the Greenhouse Effect. Solar energy is not a dense energy source, which makes it difficult to use effectively. Technologies that allow us to harvest the sun’s power while also filling another need, such as window glass, let us harvest solar energy unobtrusively, which will increase the likelihood of adoption.

I think as the technologies mature, the cost will come down and become viable from a perspective of return on investment. I applaud companies like MSK for developing these future-minded energy solutions.
