USG’s TOPO Ceilings

If you’re looking to set sail on a tossed and rolling ceiling, the new TOPO system can make it happen, at least within the constraints of a typical 2-by-2 lay-in tile. TOPO is available in an 8- or 12-inch depth and 5 panel colors. Four translucent color options allow for dramatic backlit installations.

USG offers interactive CAD design tools to help designers quickly design and render the ceiling’s various quirky permutations. The system currently lacks load bearing capabilities; lighting and mechanical systems need to be located either above or below the ceiling plane. Later permutations should solve this so TOPO can be part of any office environment.
