Versteel sponsors The Common Thread for the Cure Foundation Touchdown space
at Intersect West in Las Vegas

Versteel, a manufacturer of tables and seating, sponsored a touchdown space at Intersect West in Las Vegas in support of their on-going commitment to The Common Thread for the Cure Foundation. Since 2002, Scott Schwinghammer, President and owner of Versteel, has been a member of the Board of Directors of the The Common Thread for the Cure Foundation. A percentage of each of Versteel’s Chela chair sales is donated to The Common Thread for the Cure Foundation. Also contributing to the touchdown space was Architex International, a participating sponsor, and Mayer Fabrics. Both companies donated upholstery fabrics used on the seating in the Intersect West Touchdown space.

The Common Thread for the Cure Foundation was established in 2000 by Suzann Burkhead-Bray and Scott-Burkhead in memory of their sister, Sandra Burkhead Campbell who lost her long term battle with breast cancer in 1999. The purpose of the organization is to support those persons or their families within our industry who have breast cancer through assistance, prevention and research funding. The Common Thread for the Cure Foundation grants will be made available to aid the individual or their family in everyday tasks such as assistance with housework, running errands, getting to doctor’s appointments, etc.
